Situated in the southestern Chongqing, Wulong (武隆) is a county known for its Karst landform scenery. The area is hilly and largely covered by forest, grassland and marsh, which makes it an outdoor paradise for mountaineers, trekkers as well as trail runners. What should make you to go for a run in Wulong? Obviously it's not going to be an easy run, in the case of a rainy race day(which happened to the last two years' race) you'll get your feet wet, your shoes dirty, your hair soggy and your clothes soaked, not to mention enduring hunger and coldness.
While, some say, it's the roughness that made people tough. The more you suffer on the way, the more you get a sense of accomplishment after the race.
